Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre has partnered with BIRAC and K-Tech to implement SEED (Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development Fund) Fund. The basic idea of SEED Fund is to provide Capital assistance to start-ups with new and meritorious ideas, innovation and technologies in the life science sector.
Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka and Minister of IT, BT and S&T Dr C N Ashwathnarayan visited Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre and chaired the meeting regarding projects of COVID-19 diagnostics and therapeutics going on within the facility on 14/05/2020. He also launched automated RNA isolation and isothermal amplification kit for COVID-19 developed jointly by BBC and SN Lifesciences incubated at BBC.
Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre signs MoU with Indian Council of Agricultural Research - Indian Institute of Horticulture Research (ICAR-IIHR) in presence of Director General of ICAR, Shri Trilochan Mohapatra on 05/02/2020.
