Role Overview
The Scientific Core Lab Associate will ensure the seamless daily operation of the central instrumentation facility, including equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, user training, and documentation. This role is crucial in supporting incubated startups, academic researchers, and corporate clients with high-end analytical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment & Facility Management: Maintain and calibrate high-end life science instruments (e.g., Flow Cytometers, Confocal Microscopes, LC-MS, HPLC, RT-PCR). Maintain meticulous service records and usage logs.
- Operational Oversight: Track and manage the inventory of specialized reagents. Ensure all users adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Commercialization: Support the commercialization of facility services by assisting in the preparation of technical reports and data.
- Training & Mentorship: Assist in organizing and conducting training programs and act as a mentor for interns.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Sc., M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a core facility or a high-throughput research laboratory.
- Technical Proficiency: Flow Cytometry, Confocal Imaging, RT-PCR, or Plate Readers.
